Accessibility statement

Our target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. Meeting them also improves usability for everyone.

What is built into the site

• Semantic HTML with landmark regions (header, nav, main and footer) and a single, logical heading order on every page.
• A "Skip to content" link as the first focusable element.
• Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element, and a navigation order that follows the visual layout.
• The site works without JavaScript; the only script enhances the mobile menu, and the FAQ accordions use native <details> elements that are keyboard-operable.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative illustrations carry descriptive alt text and do not convey information that is missing from the surrounding copy.
• Colour contrast for body text and interface text is designed to meet the WCAG AA ratio (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
• Responsive, zoomable layout using relative units; content reflows to 320 px width and remains usable at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling of the page body.
• The mobile menu button exposes its state with aria-expanded; the current page is marked with aria-current.
• No auto-playing audio or video, no content that flashes, and no time limits.
• The viewer's operating-system preference for reduced motion is respected (the site uses minimal animation regardless).

Known limitations

• Some third-party content we link to, the ClickBank checkout, research papers, external organisations, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
• Older PDF materials referenced in reviews are produced by the product seller, not by us, and we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
• Automated and manual testing cannot catch every issue. If you find a barrier, please tell us.

How we test

We check pages with keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom, automated tools (such as axe and Lighthouse), and a screen reader for key templates. Accessibility is reviewed whenever the design system or a page template changes.

Reporting a problem

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, email editor@thelastswish.us with the page address, a description of the problem, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. We treat these reports as a priority and aim to respond within five business days.

Formal complaints

This statement is provided in the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 principles. If you contact us about an accessibility issue and are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter through the applicable consumer-protection or disability-rights channels in your jurisdiction.
